2005 January February March April May June July August September October November December 11 October, 2005 My appetite for raw foods finally came back. I enjoy eating sweet "red delicious", a type of apples. Yes, they are truly delicious. My love for bananas returned too. A couple of days ago I made buckwheat-base pizza, and enjoyed this one too. I figured out that it is better to have some dehydrated stuff than the cooked stuff which makes me sick. We are buying a house! Our first. It looks like we will be able to fulfill our dreams of growing our own food. The house is on a large, flat block of land, with plenty of space to grow trees. There are already 3 established fruit trees there. We are planning to grow a variety of fruit trees, grapes, blueberries and greens. A fish pond, like we had in our old place, is in the plans too. And many other things. We are so lucky. Which brings me to another issue. I have been feeling a strong need to give something back to this world. I cannot stand any longer not doing anything. There is so much suffering around. I feel that it is disguistingly selfish to indulge in comforts and ignore the rest of the world. So, I decided to rekindle my involvement in Amma group. next |
